While redesigning the website for the NWAA Sports Association, I inquired as to whether or not they needed to keep the old logo.

The Northwestern Athletic Association was in need of a total site overhaul. Their old site was very static and heavily framed. Originally the NWAA was looking at various hosting sites that specialized in youth sports organizations. While this would have been a quick option to choose, the hosting fees among various sites were relatively on the high side and from a user-interface point-of-view, all sites were laid out the same way with just a few options where you could swap out a logo or change a background color or photo.

While in the process of redesigning a new site for a client, it was determined that the current logo just did not fit in with the new design and the desire to take the company to the next level.

This project was an interesting one. The client had existing graphics they wished to use as well as an existing layout. Their old site suited their needs for a while, but they wanted something that they felt was easier to navigate and maintain.

Color Theory is a very deep field. There are books and websites filled with color palette swatches that, to most people, are pleasing to look at. Well, if you're like me, you can spend hours looking through these books and sites analyzing whether or not one palette will be better reviewed by the public than another.
